This is a new fortnightly, low-key event that the crew here at Blunt Manor have put together. Off the cuff is exactly that: - Blunt Beats DJs playing tracks from across the years, and across the genres, as and how they see fit.

The idea is that this little shindig is to be a chill out, end-of-the-week session. It’s not a case of dancing all night, its about coming out for a beer with a few of your mates, in the company of the Family Blunt, and some great music to nod your head, just to finish off the weekend. That’s right. We’ve finally decided (after much badgering from you lot out there) to organise a few blunted products to be placed in the global marketplace. To cut a long story short, we’re gonna start with some merchandise.

Doug has been hard at work on some slick t-shirt designs, and we’ve got some plans for a few other bits and pieces emblazoned with the blunt beats brand to get things started.

We’re also gonna be listening to you lot…If there are any product ideas, or specific items you’d like to see in our blunted shop, then please leave a comment (and nothing daft like “Elephant Hats”, you jokers!)

All this will be happening pretty soon, so watch this space for a new merch page, and wonderful things for you all to buy. I’d also like to point out this money doesn’t go to help blind kids, or the starving masses. We dont even give any proceeds to an animal sancturay. All the money comes to us. So get buying. Thank you!

Last night saw Blunt HQ get its lazy-eye skank on. No, we weren’t drinking Jack Daniels, we were playing top notch reggae music, and a good time was had by all. This show was the third in our now well-established and popular “Heavy Vibes” series (Even if we did get the date wrong on the flyer! Sorry!)

Agent M started off the night with a smooth mix of Trojan-Heavy rocksteady and roots, with a touch of dub, and a smattering of Studio 1 tracks. Next up was Guest DJ Oli/DJ Scrambler/Oli Twist/Oli Pizzle (we do come up with some daft names here at Blunt HQ)

Next week sees us launching a new radio show. Titled “Uncharted Territory”, the event will be a night of old-skool and drum and bass, from right across the years.
We’re messing with the radio format a little too, giving the Djs 2 hour sets, to enable them to take you on a musical journey through their own personal galaxy.
Blunt Beats Residents (and veteran ravers) Doug and Marcus G Hurley will be your musical co-pilots on the night. Going by Marcus Hurleys last “Allsorts” set, and the tricks I know Doug has up his sleeve, this should be a belter.
