Blunted Boxing Day Special

So, we’ve stuffed out faces, smoked our lungs out, and pickled our livers…..No, it’s not a meeting of the Erbalist’s bible group, or Doug’s Hearts FC appreciation society having their annual party; It’s Christmas. To mark the occasion, we’ll be live on air today, starting a bit early (around 4 pm UK time) – Expect to hear sounds from the Blunt Beats residents, plus special guests. No doubt we’ll all be smelling like an upmarket Pepe-Le-Pew, and wearing new wooly jumpers. Tune in, and remember the satsumas and hazlenuts.
Next weeks live radio broadcast sees the return of our popular “Smoking Behind The Bike Sheds” show. This is where your Blunt selectors get to play a variety of tunes that has moulded their musical personalities, for better or worse, through their formative years. Joining the Blunt Residents on the night will be our long-time friend and special guest Pinko Paul, with a personal selection of tunes hand-picked just for you all. Wed 19th Dec – 8pm Uk time – bluntbeats.com/radio – be sure to check it out.

Wednesday night saw us launch the latest in out themed radio shows. Entitled “The Dub Chamber“, as the name would suggest, this was straight up heavyweight dub from across the years. Blunt Residents the Erbalist and Agent M did the dub listeners proud, with a supreme selection. A full tracklisting is below, and you can download the whole show via our radio page for the next 7 days. Enjoy.

This Wednesday’s live radio show sees the return of our “Uncharted Territory” sessions. Put simply, this is straight up jungle, old-skool and drum and bass for 4 hours, live from 8pm Wednesday night!
