New sets from Agent M

Agent M has been busy (well….a bit..!!) - he’s uploaded 4 new sets for you all to listen to at your leisure. The man himself explains below…

“Right….I’ve finally pulled my finger out, and uploaded some sets….there’s 4 here….2 electronic sets, one reggae session, and a hip hop mix.”

Two of ‘em I’ve tracklisted (most of the way), but I’m a lazy so-and-so, and with the amount of record sleeves, white labels, and vinyl stacks at Blunt HQ, it can be a bit hard to stay on top of it all…….well, that’s my excuse, and I’m sticking to it!!” “The music is below……enjoy….”

1) Dynamic Soldering

This is a selection of mid paced electronic music from labels such as R&S, Warp, and F Communications, with a bit of old-skool house thrown in for the hell of it. I’ve tracklisted this one below (gold star for me).

  1. Marks made in China - Nautilus
  2. Better Things - Dinji Brown feat. Vina Mojica
  3. Stories - Pascal Shaffer
  4. A Reminicent Drive (Love from San Francisco remix) - NYC Dharma
  5. Smooth - Ignitor Archives
  6. Gold Is Your Colour - Themroc
  7. Khaotic Khaen - Ken Ishii
  8. 24-Bit Optimist - Ken Ishii
  9. SubSurround - Ignotor Achives
  10. Sleight Of Hand - Earthbound
  11. Ussyats - Mandrillus Sphynx
  12. Galactica - Galatica feat. Lazy Walker

2) Easy Vibe

This is a long, wandering reggae mix, starting off with some dub and roots, going through a bit of rocksteady, and ending up on some ska sounds…

3) Microchips And Salsa Dips

This is some more electronic music, but on a slightly more chilled tip that the one listed above. Includes tracks from artists such as Luke Vibert, and EggBoy…

4) Microphones And Speaker Tones

Again, this is another wandering mix. - Lots of hip hop styles, with some big classic tunes mixed with up with some rarer stuff, both old and new. Trackilsting for this is (roughly) as follows:

  1. Stressed out (Richy Pitch remix) - A Tribe Called Quest
  2. Number One - King Solomon
  3. Heard It All Before (Richy Pitch remix) - Sunshine Anderson
  4. You Won’t See Me Tonight (Taken from the MFDoom/Nas bootleg album “Nastradoomus”) - Nas/MFDoom
  5. Go (intrumental) - Common
  6. Streets of New York - Alicia Keys/Nas/Rakim
  7. Tonight Is The Night (instrumental) - Debbie Gordon
  8. Nuthin’ But A G Thang - Dr Dre/Snoop Dogg
  9. Scram (instrumental) - Jazzy Jeff
  10. Scram (vocal) - Jazzy Jeff
  11. That’s Life - Progression
  12. All I Need (remix) - Method Man
  13. All I Need (original)Method Man
  14. What Goes Around (taken from the MFDoom/Nas bootleg album “Nastradoomus”) - Nas/MFDoom
  15. (Can’t remember then name. Taken from a white label copy of the DangerMouse album “The Grey Album”) - DangerMouse/Jay-Z
  16. 40oz For Breakfast - Blackalicious
