Those of you who tuned into last nights show will be well aware of the fact that it was a belter. Don’t get me wrong, now I’m not saying that our radio sessions are normally a pile of old pony, but Wednesdays session was particularly good. We tweaked the formula a touch this week, and let Marcus G Hurley and Agent M loose with 2 hours each to play with. The mission statement was “to be as indulgent as you like and play what you please“, which both Djs did to the letter.

Marcus G Hurley started off with 120 minutes of quality drum and bass and old skool which rocked the rafters here at Blunt HQ. He took this chance to give a little showcase to what he’ll be playing at the Over The Top gig this weekend (more details will be posted on bluntbeats tomorrow), and certainly showed that he’ll tear it up!

Agent M followed on with 2 hours of a supremely wide-ranging musical feast, gorging himself on dub, hip hop, jazz, breaks and soul, contently belching all the way until midnight. We were getting calls from our webland audience around the world to keep playing ,but the need for sleep became paramount this time!
