Funk’n hell, ring that bell. Part 1

I was sorting through my vast record collection probably well over ten thousand records and came across some original rare beauties. This mix part 1 of 2 was inspired, by records left to me a few years back from my Granddad (he was a dedicated jazz funk record collector) sadly passed on to the big boss in the sky.

So I have complied large-flare, kipper-tie, fur coat wearing getups to take you back to the days when music was full of soul. Such artists as Herbie Hancock, Bobby Byrd, Jr. Walker and The All Stars influence most of the music with a cheeky blues number to finish, which is sure to have you donning a Chucky Berry air guitar and kicking your leg across the floor. If like this, then part 2 is a must. The tracklisting is below

Wicked mix mate. Just listening to it while doing some paperwork…

Quality records from a bygone era.

Funnily enough, I’m wearing a pair of flared jeans today. How apt. I’ll just have to go a stupidly large revolver and some leather shoes and I’m Dirty Harry, man!

Keep up the good work.
