This weeks live Blunt Beats radio show sees us getting all misty-eyed again. “Smoking Behind The Bike Sheds” is an evening of music, showcasing some of the stuff (for better or worse) that moulded our musical personalities growing up, and the musical landmarks that helped influence our beat selections in todays day and age.
Joining Blunt Residents Marcus Hurley and Agent M, will be special guest Christafari, with an exclusive set, putting down some of his own musical schooling here at Blunt HQ.
Expect to hear all kinds of sounds from the crew…funk, soul, hip hop, reggae, blues, drum and bass, metal and dub have all made an appearance on this kind of night before. Whatever is chosen for the setlist will certainly be quality. Of that you can be sure….You can probably expect to hear Blunted rants about simpler times with jumpers for goalposts, the scourge of the Common Market, and the price of things nowadays. To be fair, we are all knocking on a bit now!
Wed 12th March - 8pm UK time - Blunt Beats presents Smoking Behind The Bike Sheds with special guest Christafari - www.bluntbeats.com/radio - Bring the Rizlas and I’ll see you behind the tennis courts

This is going to be a right old laugh.
With us old folk complaining about the price of everything,
and when Beano was just 10p with a free chocolate bar straped to the front and the size of a curley wurley was the length of your arm, also all music mags had those doggy
plastic 7inch records on the front that all us budding dj’s would try to scratch but fail and in the process break your dads needle and th hifi then blame it on your pet.
Tune in,caps and ties at the ready its time to take a trip down memory lane

Flexi-disc is the term you’re looking for Mr Hurley!
(didn’t have these new-fangled CDs in my day…was all about the TDK 90’s killing the batteries in your walkman, which was the size of a shoebox)
Should be a belter…looking forward to seeing what Old-Man-Who-Lives-In-The-Shoe AKA Christafari will be prividing musicwise on the night.
P.S - cheers for your email RE: electrics/equipment…I tried to reply, but my hotmail goes mental in the office…
See you tomorrow evening, squire….
