It’s fair to say last nights show was a stormer from the word go. Quality ska, rocksteady, dub, and roots sounds from right across the years. It was geat fun, and a pleasure for me personally, to dig out some old tracks that I haven’t aired in a while. I know the Erbalist did the same! Our special thanks also go out to Dread-i from Liberation Collective for a spot-on roots selection as our guest DJ.
Big ups as well to both the Dogg-G and the Bushdoctor, who were on a visit to Blunt HQ. Our thanks also go out to all the local crew at Ascenzion Dub Syndicate, and Solution Sounds, for their continued support on the reggae vibe. Our appreciation also goes out to our international listening base (those we know, and those we don’t!) right around the world. Bangkok to Berlin, Budapest to Barcelona, Birmingham to Brooklyn, and everywhere inbetween. Thank you. We’re glad you like the music. We’ll keep it coming.
The entire night’s recording can be found on our radio page, and a full tracklisting for each DJ is below. Expect us to line up the third part of our Heavy Vibes series in the near future. The response we’ve had so far on these sessions has been excellent, so thanks again for your support, and we’ll be doing it all again very soon. One love
