Podcast - Diesler

We’re back on home shores once more with the fabulous podcast review. It’s to Burnley in the north of England - the town famous for textile mills, the Clarets and Joe Bloggs clothing. But more relevant to this post, Burnley is also the home of Diesler and the Diesler podcast adventure.

Diesler on the decksIf you’re not familiar with the work of Diesler then you’ve missed out on the two superb albums Diggin’ It Something Rotten (2005),and Keppie Uppies (2006), that went out on the south coast imprint Tru Thoughts. If you know of Tru Thoughts then you know that Rob Luis’s genius A&R skills lead to only the best making it to the captain’s table. Diesler is up there on merit, for sure.

The 30min. podcasts are crammed with interesting new bits and pieces and follow on the nu-jazz, hip-hop & latin influenced vibe of his albums. They drop on a monthly basis and there’s 6 episodes up there, so crack on. Gotta get ‘em all.
