Well, Autumn is here, no doubt: the evenings are dark, Eastenders is crap, and there’s nothing worth shouting about for any of our teams in the Champions League (be a few years before Luton Town get there….M) so, we thought we’d continue our selection of visual tidbits to keep you amused during the cold and dark nights. Close the curtains, roll a fat one, and enjoy!

Haha – makes me feel very old – jumpers for goalposts and all that. This documentary covers the rise and world-domination of the video entertainment system, from its humble beginnings with games like Atari’s “Pong”, up to modern classics from Nintendo. This one is for everyone who bunked off school to spend their pocket money on Asteroids…enjoy!
Pretty Dyana – A Gypsy Recycling Saga….
A rather odd, but strangely compelling documentary about Gypsys living in a Belgrade suburb who make their living by using a Citroen 2CV in the strangest way, turning it into a recycling truck to collect card and bottles – Mad Max has nothing on these guys!! – A surreal look into another way of life, and rather touching in its content. Made us here at Blunt HQ realise just how easy we have it. A well made film from the Dribbling Pictures crew.
Boca Juniors vs River Plate
And you thought West Ham and Chelsea had it bad???? – This documentary looks at the rivalries, passions, and histories surrounding two of Argentina’s greatest (and most competitive) football clubs. Devotion to these teams is second to none, and many a marriage and family has been split by loyalties to the opposing teams out of Buenos Aries. Nobody does football like the Latin Americans, and this film shows why. A great insight into Agentinian culture, history, and football. (big ups to Matt J for being the only man I know being brave enough to go and see River Plate play!!)
Shake Hands With Danger
This film comes from our friends at AV Geeks, in Houston USA – As their name suggests, they get hold of some very very obscure (and geeky) footage, including this 1970′s construction site safety educational film….Worth it just for the redneck “shake hands with danger” theme tune if nothing else…Remember people, y’all stay safe with your earth movers!!
