It’s been a little while since we’ve provided you weblanders with some televisual delights. So, I thought I’d rectify that by bringing you a few bits of footage that have been doing the rounds at Blunt HQ that we think are worth a watch….
So, put your feet up, get a drink, light up and enjoy.
Dubstep Documentary.
This has been around a little while now, but is still worth a look. It’s a documentary following the rise of the dubstep scene, and talking to some of the main players involved. If you like your dubstep, then this is for you. If you haven’t a clue what I’m on about, then this is a good place to start!
Detriot Gangs Documentary.
Detroit. To music lovers, it means a lot of things. Motown. Detroit Techno. MC5. All sorts of stuff. Joe Bloggs will know it as the “Motor City”, America’s industrial post-war heartland, and they might be able to hum a few bars of the odd Diana Ross record. Some of you might even recognise it as the home town of Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop.
Whatever it’s famous for, Detroit has also been notorious for it’s gangs, violence, and deaths on the street. It didn’t get the name of “The Murder Capital Of America” during the ’80s for nothing.
This gritty documentary gives a graphic insight into the history and culture of gang warfare in Detroit, and how the community have worked to fight back. Interesting stuff. But it might make you want to double-check the windows are locked before you go to sleep tonight
Arab Treadmill Prank.
Well…we thought it was funny!
Rising Damp.
We thought we’d include this after a couple of gritty documentaries! Here’s an episode of one of the the most under-rated of British comedies form the 70s. It follows the trials and tribulations of slum landlord Rigsby, and his long-suffering tenants. Some great actors were in this, including Leonard Rossiter and Richard Beckinsale. If you’re old enough to remember this, then take a trip back in time. If you’re not, watch it, and understand why all us old folk say TV nowadays is a bunch of arse.
Ok. That should keep you busy for a little while. And remember, don’t spend all day watching TV, it’s bad for you!

i love these tv posts, thanks dudes…
